Here are the details...

Well, we're back at the Radisson Hotel again this year, which, according to all I've heard, is the most popular hotel for Keycon in recent years. It's a great venue; you may recall, all the function space is located around a main staircase, close to the restaurant and the pool area. Those who aren't familiar with the space will love the layout too - this year all con panels are on the twelfth floor, with only registration/operations being on the eleventh - just down the staircase.

All hospitality suites are located on the fifteenth, as last year. The one concern that came up in regard to this, that is, the encroaching of noxious fumes from smoking to non-smoking suites, is being kept in mind and we will try to arrange suites to minimize this. But it will be great to keep all the partying to one floor again; it means you don't miss anything!

Floor Plans

For an idea of how the hotel is laid out, take a look at the hotel floor plans. The 12th Floor is the location of all convention programming. The Art Show is located on the Pool Floor, while Registration and Operations are housed in the coat check room on the 11th Floor.

All members must make their own reservations. Identify yourself as being a Keycon member in order to receive the preferential rate. If you are planning to arrive late, you must guarantee your room reservation with a deposit equal to the first night's room and tax, or with a major credit card. Failure to cancel a guaranteed reservation by 4:00 pm on the day of arrival, or occupy the room will result in a charge of one night's room and tax applied to the credit card or forfeiture of the deposit.

Reserve your room by April 17th - after that, the special room rate is not guaranteed to be available. Give the hotel a call if you have any questions about their facilities - such as arranging early check-in or check-out, or a pets policy. The sooner you let them know your requirements, the better able they will be to accommodate them.

If you'd like to have a room on the fifteenth (hospitality) floor - especially if you would like to run a party room, you must contact Chris Barsanti, as the hotel will not be accepting reservations for those suites.
